Year Five took a trip to Africa to being their topic 'The Circle of Life'. We watched the Lion King to inspire our Spring topic.  We are looking forward to finding out more about Life cycles, Africa culture, dace, music and arts.  Keep an eye on our Blog to see where our topic takes us to next.

Beauty and the Beast Production

 Today we enjoyed an excellent performance of Beauty and the beast performed by the Catch 22 performance group.  We also had a very special guest artist... Mr Murphy.

Christmas Party

Christmas Party time in Year 5 was great fun.  We  all joined in in a topic quiz; which was full of brain teasers.  Then we played pass the parcel, we had a visit from Santa and danced the afternoon away.  To finish our afternoon off we had a festive rendition of Jingle Bells played by our guitarists.  Have a great holiday everyone!

Moon Buggies

We received our final Mission from Professor Winterburn from the British Space Agency.  To complete our topic work he asked us to design and make a prototype Moon Buggies.  Once we were given our specifications we set to work using our woodwork, art and design skills to produce our buggies.
